During this period, participants will have the opportunity to engage in both theoretical and practical activities in the field and indoors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Session 2 (Forest Therapy \u2013 Advanced Part):<\/strong> 4 days in a forest&nbsp; (from Thursday to Sunday, for the English-speaking group, October 3 &#8211; 6-th, 2024). Location- Suwa\u0142ki, Folwark Hutta, Poland. In addition to the activities during this session, participants will undergo an examination necessary for obtaining the certificate, consisting of both a written and practical component.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Between the sessions, there will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Online lectures<\/li>\n<li>Online group activities<\/li>\n<li>Independent theoretical and fieldwork<\/li>\n<li>Remote mentorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The education is conducted in five modes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In-person theoretical classes<\/li>\n<li>Field practical sessions<\/li>\n<li>Online through international cooperation with countries such as South Korea, Japan, Finland, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and Lithuania, we have first-hand information.<\/li><li>How to establish and run your own business, including marketing and establishing a presence on social THE TRAINING \"REI Certified Forest Therapy Guide Training 2024\" May 2024<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Field classes take place in natural areas: on trails, in an agritourism center, and off designated trails, in various (variable) weather conditions. The group of participants will consist of a maximum of 21 people.<\/li>\n<li>The participants commit to independently ensuring their own safety and wearing weather-appropriate clothing. During the training, they take full responsibility for participating in the activities, their mental and physical condition, necessary medication (if any), and overall health. They certify that their health allows them to engage in activities such as forest bathing, forest therapy, and nature walks, and any potential risk to their well-being due to existing illnesses is their personal responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>The participant undertakes not to wander away from the group in the forest, especially from the leaders, beyond visual and vocal contact distance, to have a charged and activated mobile phone at least in vibration mode, and to promptly inform the leaders by phone (having the contact number of the leaders) if they get lost in the area.<\/li>\n<li>The training team (and the Forest Therapy Center Katarzyna Simonienko which is in Polish 'Centrum Terapii Le\u015bnej Katarzyna Simonienko', the main organizer of the training) are not responsible for any potential material damages that may occur during the training or accidents resulting from participation in activities and field trips, occurrences of allergies, stings, bites from mosquitoes or ticks, or diseases related to them. Participants are informed about the necessity of providing appropriate preventive measures, clothing, repellents, carefully checking their bodies after a walk, considering prior vaccinations against TBE (tick-borne encephalitis), and appropriate follow-up procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in activities is voluntary at any moment. In case of deciding to resign from the activities, especially during them, particularly in natural areas, the participant personally informs the leading person and takes responsibility for their independent return<\/li>\n<li>Stationary classes largely have an analogue character. Please bring a notebook and writing materials with you.<\/li>\n<li>During field sessions, the consumption of alcohol, smoking tobacco products, and the use of psychoactive substances are prohibited, except for medications prescribed by a doctor.<\/li>\n<li>Only individuals without infectious symptoms (e.g., elevated temperature, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, cough) and with no exacerbation of existing chronic diseases are allowed to participate in classes.<\/li>\n<li>The participant commits to adhere to the rules of access to the Bia\u0142owie\u017ca National Park during their stay in the area, to treat the surrounding nature, other participants, and staff with respect during all activities, and to comply with current regulations. If they receive confidential information from other participants during the activities, they undertake to maintain discretion and refrain from judgment. Together, we create a supportive, safe space, and a good atmosphere.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in the training is subject to a fee before the event: 1500 Euro gross per person. The fee does not include accommodation or meals. The reservation of a place is guaranteed by a non-refundable deposit of 150 Euro. The order of registrations is determined by the order of deposit payments. The payment should be made only AFTER RECEIVING AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION from REI in response to submitting this form. In case of the training's cancellation by the organizer, payments, including deposits, will be refunded.
